Portfolio
This is just a sample portfolio of work that I am particularly proud of – not only for my role (which I’ve specified), but more importantly, for that of my team at Red Apples Media over the past 15 years. It’s difficult to encapsulate my work on a single web page, but this portfolio page should certainly give you a sense of my skill level, abilities, creativity, and passion for marketing, branding, design, production, content creation and the community we’ve served. If there is a specific medium, project or example you do not see, please contact me.

Red Apples Media was the publisher of Lake County Focus Magazine for about 18 months. It was a labor of love, providing an alternative source of thought-provoking content, sandwiched between the daily newspaper and the monthly glossy magazines. With free pick-up and home delivery distribution of 10,000 each month, as well as video elements and branded weekly news briefs, we set a standard for multimedia content and cross promotion/distribution that would later be imitated by those with much deeper publishing roots, forcing us into the difficult – but financially prudent decision – to recognize that print was not our sweet-spot and it was adversely impacting other business units of Red Apples Media. I served as publisher, “Marc’s Remarks” column, and frequent writer/contributor.
