Emcee \ Host \ Guest Speaker

With hundreds of hours in front of the camera or behand a microphone, I have been very fortunate to have developed a great sense of comfort with audiences. That comfort has also translated to live work, serving as emcee/auctioneer at scores of special events and fundraisers, along with professional presentations.

Special Events Host and Emcee

I am available to host, emcee and even serve as an auctioneer at your event. Whether a fun community event, or an important fundraiser, it is important to bring energy, entertainment, and engagement to the program. I work very closely with event organizers to the depth they desire – theming, scripting, rundown/flow, etc. Several of the videos I have produced, specifically to be shown at events, have gone on to win Telly Awards – while raising awareness and critical funds. Events and Organizations have included:

  • Florida Hospital Waterman Foundation
  • Education Foundation, Lake County (FL)
  • Stepping Out for Education
  • Lake Sumter State College
  • Take Stock in Children (Lake County, FL)
  • American Cancer Society (Ocala, FL)
  • Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce
  • LifeStream Behavioral Center

Guest Speaker / Presentations

Over the years, I have developed several dynamic presentations that have been shared in groups as small as local Chambers of Commerce, to professional organization conferences and symposiums. One in particular, DRIP Marketing Bootcamp, was designed as a full-day exercise for organizations, but has been customized into a “mini” version for large, diverse professional group presentations. Some of the available presentations include:

  • Video and The POPE: The title itself raises eyebrows, but it’s intended to exhibit the growing trends, strategies and the value of video in marketing your brand, business, or organization with a “Produce Once, Put Everywhere” (POPE) approach. When is it OK to produce your own and when should you invest into professional production services?
  • DRIP Marketing Bootcamp: A four-step process that helps break down an organization’s true brand identity. The full presentation, typically tailored for a single organization’s leadership team, digs deeps into: (D)ifferentiation, (R)elationships, (I)nnovation, (P)roof. She shorter “mini” presentation, typically for a conference breakout or seminar session, stays focused on the driver of all branding – What truly differentiates you? The conversation is guaranteed to be eye-opening and spirited.
  • The News Dilemma – First, Fast, Fake?: What is news, anymore? How can you trust it and how did we get to where we are today with the dissemination of information? This is a nostalgic look back at the history of legacy news and how it has transformed into a media landscape that often clashes with social media, influencers and nextgen news outlets.
  • Respect The Universe: What happens when we become comfortable with giving up unwavering control in our lives and recognize the possibility that we are just small parts of The Universe? This powerful presentation begins at a baseball game in Baltimore and opens the audience’s eyes and minds to the power of The Universe, how awareness and understanding can alter our approach to our job, family and life, and the three concrete rules The Universe makes us play by.
